1. Setup & Ante
The game begins with all players placing an initial bet called the “Boot Amount” or “Ante”. This creates the initial pot that the winner will take. The game typically involves 3-6 players using a standard 52-card deck without jokers (in the classic version).
2. Dealing the Cards

3. Betting Rounds
